It’s crab season here in Northern California, and that means one thing; it’s time for the Napa Valley crab feeds! An evening full of feasting on crab and other culinary delights; a crab feed give you a night of great food, great fun, and a chance to support local causes. Here is a round-up of some local favorites, in chronological order.
Justin Siena High School
For the 32nd year, Justin Siena High School will be holding its crab feed in the Clark gym at 4026 Maher Street. This year’s event will be held January 21, with doors opening at 5 pm. Come and get unlimited crab, salad, and pasta, while supporting the high school’s athletics and arts programs. There will also be a silent auction and mobile bidding. Vintage High School Athletic Boosters
Also being held on January 21 is the Vintage High School Athletic Booster’s, 39th-annual crab feed at Chardonnay Hall in the Napa Valley Expo at 575 3rd St. in Napa. Doors open at 4 pm, and you can look forward to an evening of crab, tri tip, pasta, bread, and salad. Wonder Bread 5 will be performing; don’t forget your dancing shoes! Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club of Napa will hold its 25th-annual crab feed on Saturday, January 28, at Chardonnay Hall in the Napa Valley Expo. Join in for an evening of succulent crab, a live auction, and dancing with a DJ playing the hits. Get ready to get creative, because there will be prizes for the best table-themes as well. Kiwanis Club
The Kiwanis Club of Napa is holding its annual crab feed on February 4 in Chardonnay Hall at the Napa Valley Expo, with doors opening at 5:30. In addition to your crab dinner, get ready for a night of dancing to a local DJ, a silent and live auction, and even an oyster bar. Napa High School Athletic Boosters
Napa High’s Athletic Boosters’ biggest fundraiser of the year is its annual crab feed. This year it’s on February 11, with doors opening at 5:30. The event will be held at Springhill suites at 101 Gateway Road E. In addition to your crab dinner, you’ll be feasting on tri tip. There will be a live and silent auction, too. Seating is limited to 144 people, and the event usually sells out quickly. Tickets are $55 per person; to purchase them, or for more information go to nhsathleticboosters.org.
